Wood Carved
Sunflower: This
journal was given as a gift by my client to her sister. The sunflower is an
original wood carving made by the sister who gained new appreciation for her
creativity by seeing it displayed on her personal journal cover.

The Girl with the Daffodils: This

place for reflection.

The Little Skater: Isabelle is a
talented young skater and her coach requires her students to keep a journal
of practice progress and competitive events. What a wonderful way to document
"how far they've come." This journal, Joyous Memories, was
a gift from Mom.

Sittin' Pretty: Carole's Thoughts,
a gift from father and daughter to Mom on Mother's Day. Simply a superb
idea for Mom to remember her precious young one as she sits down to write,
possibly even recording her child's latest developments.

Thank You! Several copies of this
journal were made for my client to present to those who were very special
to her, those who helped her through difficult times. Each book was personalized
by changing the name on the dedication page and adding some verbage significant
to each recipient.

Rainbow Trail: A Mountain Top Experience:
A wonderful place to write about the experiences one had on a special retreat.
This was a gift from my client to a friend. It was made particularly significant
by including as the dedication page a poem the recipient wrote while on
the retreat.

Me and My Mom: I made this journal for
myself as a tribute to my Mom, Phyllis Janet Forbes, who died in 1996.
The photo was taken in 1957 on the coast of France.
